Medieval Music
After completing my thesis, I ended up becoming a medieval minstrel. These things happen!
For me, I found that gaining a better understanding of the music of the period added immensely to my appreciation. On this page I’m going to post some of the videos, talks and papers on medieval music and associated subjects that I’ve put together over the years for Trouvere and for Medieval Music in the Dales.

My medieval music festival - Medieval Music in the Dales. This takes place in Yorkshire, England, every September featuring an incredible range of concerts, workshops, dancing and general medieval musical fun. Described as ‘globally unique!’
